The automatic elemental analyzer for “micro” weighing
The ECS 4024 Classic model elemental analyzer is an instrument for organic elemental analysis based on high-temperature catalytic combustion (Dumas method), in an oxygen-enriched atmosphere, for the simultaneous determination of the elements CHNS and optionally O.
The ECS 4024 Classic Model is the semi-automatic model that represents an evolution of the elemental analysis techniques based on “flash combustion” and chromatographic separation. The combustion gases CO 2 , H 2 O, SO 2 and N 2 are separated in a GC column maintained at a constant temperature, selectable by the user between 30° and 110 °C. The detection and determination of the concentrations of the various elements is carried out by a thermal conductivity detector (TCD).

The ECS 4010 is recommended when you want to analyze particularly homogeneous samples (micro weighing). The ECS 4010 is also recommended in laboratories where many samples are analyzed, thanks to its high degree of automation.
This model is available in N; CN; CHN; CHNS mode.
Thanks to the double oven configuration, a better optimization of the catalyst consumption is possible.
The ECS 4010 consists of three main modules: a sampling/combustion system (two different autosamplers and various reactor types are available to ensure an always optimized application), the detection system and the data management system.
It is a highly sensitive analysis tool, very flexible and suitable for applications ranging from the pharmaceutical industry to marine biology, to petrochemicals.
The detector (TCD, Thermal Conductivity Detector, with exclusive design) is self-calibrating and does not require the use of a reference gas.
The ECS 4010 combines robustness, reliability and flexibility to meet the most diverse analytical needs.
The ECS 4010 is particularly suitable for connection to other units for the determination of isotope ratios of stable elements.
